Captain Ryan is a fictional character in the fictional T.V show Space Heroes. He is the captain of the ship in Space Heroes, and is the main character of the show. He is Leonardo's role model, and Leo copies everything he does sometimes, such as saying his catchphrase.
One of the things that Captain Ryan seems to do often is slap the faces of his crew to calm them down. Raphael plays off of this, trying to get Leo to smack himself as well during the episode, "Panic in the Sewers" while quoting the show to calm him down.
At the same time though...Captain Ryan himself doesn't act like much of a hero; always sacrificing new recruits for certain missions and even getting rid of creatures in the least humane way.
