The late Charles Quinton Murphy was an American actor and comedian known for numerous roles throughout his career. He voiced Bellybomb in the 2012 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series.

Charlie Murphy was the older brother of Eddie Murphy. Another comedian and actor known for his numerous, and in usually more popular roles. Many of Charlie's struggles in his early career were around leaving his brother's shadow and having less people refer to him as "Eddie Murphy's brother" because of this. Nevertheless, Charlie always loved his younger brother and was very much proud of his success.

His voice roles included Jizzy B. from the Grand Theft Auto:San Andreas video game (2004), White Mike from Marc Ecko's Getting Up: Contents Under Pressure video game (2006), and as Ed Wuncler III from the Boondocks animated series (2005). His live action roles include Daddy Day Care as as substitute babysitter, a short cameo as a taxi driver from Night at the Museum (2006), and many others.

But he most likely well known for his work in the sketch comedy television series, Chapelle's Show. Playing as many different characters in myraid skits, and portraying the recurring character Buc Nasty in multiple others. But his big break was as himself during the two sketches, Charlie Murphy's True Hollywood Stories: Rick James and Charlie Murphy's True Hollywood Stories:Prince. During these sketches, Charlie Murphy narrates real-life events he's had being around two music icons who are sadly also departed: Rick James and Prince.

In fact, the Prince sketch was referenced in the Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Series episode, Air Turtle. Where that series' incarnation of Donatello dunks a basketball into a toddler's hoop and smugly says "Game. Blouses." It's even more comedic when you consider this Donatello's codename is 'Purple Rain', referencing a Prince song. They're minor and obscure scene, but they wouldn't have happened without him.
