Nick is Casey Jones's former best friend. Nick is a hockey player just like Casey and they were both on the same hockey team.

Casey and Nick were best friends since the second grade. 2 years ago, Nick and Casey were fighting against Tromatown in a hockey playoff. But just when Casey was about to make the winning goal, Casey hit Nick by accident and smacked him right in his face giving him a swollen face and a split lip. Him and Casey never spoke to each other since then.
