[After the death of Splinter and Super Shredder, the turtles decide to live their own lives as a Hamato Clan, then they have 7 awesome adventures. The episode starts with the sewer's view, until we see one hooded creature, growling, then we see he is being chased by Raphael and Casey Jones.]
Raph: Hurry, Casey, we gotta stop this freak-job! Did you see what he tried to do back there? Oof!
Casey: His butt belongs to Casey Jones.
[The ten dropped a couple of pucks, shooting them at the figure. One of them missed as the figure vanished into the tunnels.]
Casey: He's getting away!
[The two boys end up in the darkness and bumped into each other.]
Raph: Casey!
Casey: Sorry, dude.
[More eyes appear in the darkness.]
Raph: Okay, evil glowing eyes, never a good sign.
[The creatures started to attack them. Raph and Casey started to run away from the strange hooded creatures.]
Casey: What the heck are they?
Raph: Not human dudes, dude.
Casey: It's all good though. We got these punks. [pulls out his hockey stick.]
Raph: Are you crazy? There's too many.
Casey: Casey Jones never runs from a fight. Whoa! Ahh!
[The creatures grabbed Casey's legs and pulled him toward the tunnel.]
Raph: No!
[New Season 5 Theme Song.]
Mikey: Aww, yeah! VHS tape mission accomplished. Check it out. I found them in the basement of this video store that went out of business. the last video tape store in the whole city, dude.
[He held up a box of old VHS tapes.]
Leo: [amazed, gasps] Yes! Holy geek-out, Wingnut. This is so awesome. Mikey, pizza is on me tonight. Get whatever you want.
Mikey: Booyakasha-na-na-na-na.
April: Um, what are you fan-boying so hard over, Leo?
Leo: Mikey managed to track down all these old super rare VHS tapes of Space-Heroes: The Next Generation. The official sequel to the original Space-Heroes.
Donnie: These are from the early 90s, but most of the tapes were put in a landfill because the show was deemed too disturbing for kids.
[Leo puts the tape in and plays it.]
Crankshaw Jr: Captain Ryan, the Nefrini are sending out an urgent com signal! Ayy!
[He gets slapped.]
Ryan: Put them on the screen, Crankshaw Junior.
Nefrini: Captain Ryan, the Nefrini people feel it is unfair that the Confederation is taxing our trade routes, and we would ask you-
Ryan: Blah, blah, blah. Do you see what my hand is doing, Nefrini? It's a puppet that is mocking you. Boring! Mr. Crankshaw, let's blow these aliens out of the water. And by water, I mean space!
Crankshaw Jr: But- but sir! The Nefrini are a peaceful race! We can't just destroy them! [gets slapped two times] Ahh!
Ryan: Fire photogenic missiles!
[The machine shoots the alien ship.]
Leo: [cheerfully] Yes! So awesome!
Mikey: Eh, it's no Crognard.
Donnie: This is just as lame as the first Space-Heroes.
Leo: Lame? It's making my eyeballs melt with joy. I love this cartoon!
[Casey and Raph arrive, totally beaten up.]
April: What the heck happened?
[Breathing heavily, Raph told them everything as a memory begins.]
Raph: We were on our way back from patrolling the city, when we found this crazy robed cultist-looking guy about to perform what looked like a sacrifice.
Casey: So Casey Jones and his sidekick, Raph, gave chase.
Raph: Sidekick?
Casey: We tried to corner the robed dude, but he escaped at the last second.
[Memory ends]
Raph: Escaped? Clearly they kicked our butts to Queens, but whatever. There were way more of them than us.
Leo: What the heck were they? Human? Robot? Mutant?
Mikey: Kangaroo men?
Raph: I don't know, but whatever they were, they were faster and way stronger. Even by my standards, and that means something.
Donnie: My security sensors have been picking up more homeless people in the sewers. At least I thought they were homeless people.
Leo: If these creatures are performing weird sacrifices, then we need to do something about it.
[We cut to the caves.]
Cult Leader: Children, heed my words. We are close at hand to bringing about his return. But we must find the Scroll of the Demodragon. With it, we will be able to summon a mighty being who has the power to bring forth the Master himself. It waits for us in this city. Go forth and capture the scroll. Do not fail me!
[At another part of the sewers, Donnie finished up with motion detector.]
Donnie: I just upgraded these new motion detectors to track down our robed friends. Now if they're in these sewers within a five mile radius, we'll find them.
Leo: Sweet. We split up and put these things within five miles of the lair. Let's do this, team.
[They begin to place the detectors all over the sewer, While they had put them on, Leo's signal bleeped.]
Leo: Oh, man. A motion sensor is going off right down that tunnel. Come on, Mikey.
Mikey: Whoa, dude. Should we call the guys?
Leo: We can handle this. Let's move.
[They peek over to see a hooded figure.]
Mikey: There he is.
[Leo covered his mouth to hide. The creature looks and snarls. The two turtles continue to follow the hooded figures as they enter the library. They picked up a scroll and started to chant a strange language.]
All: Mavakaaa sekulaa nadavaaaa. Mavakaaa sekulaa nadavaaaa. Mavakaaa sekul...
[Leo and Mikey jumped in through the penthouse window. As the creatures turned their faces, you can see that their faces are crone shaped.]
Mikey: Booyakasha! You're not going anywhere with that old paper, dudes!
[They charge. Mikey punched the hooded figure but it got stuck and his hand got covered with goo. The beast grabbed his face and threw him. Leo sliced him but the hooded crone was quick. Mikey used his grappling hook and knocked the scroll out of the hooded one's hands. They jumped for it and they fell. The two turtles jump down and are about to grab it until Mikey gets dragged into the darkness by the hooded creatures. Leo starts to fight the hooded cultists. The creature grabbed his katana and scratched him as Mikey struggled to climb.]
Mikey: Let me go, you creepy ghoul! Leo!
[Mikey tosses the scroll as the beast pinned him down.]
Leo: Mikey!
[The creature breaks his arm and grabs the scroll while Mikey is thrown aside, completely beaten up.]
Leo: You okay, little brother?
Mikey: Not really.
[Just before the creature could crush them with a dumpster, a police siren is heard. They retreat. Mikey had been given a bandage in the lair while Raph fixed Leo's arm, popping his arm back in place.]
Leo: They caught my blades in their hands like they were plastic toys. It was crazy.
Raph: You should have called us, man. We could have been back-up.
Donnie: Guys, listen up! This is important. So the penthouse belongs to a wealthy collector of the weird and obscure, mostly magical stuff.
[In Donatello's computer, we can see one man, a wealthy collector and his dog. We also learn that the previous owner of the scroll's name is Wilson A. Brooks III.]
Mikey: Sounds like the perfect candidate for I'm the boss of a freaky cult.
Donnie: I think this is the scroll they stole: The Scroll of the Demodragon.
Casey: A scroll? Like a magic scroll? Aww, man, I hate magic.
Donnie: It's an ancient evocation said to summon a powerful monster called Kavaxas. Kavaxas belongs to a mythical race of Demodragons believed to reside in the Netherworld. Magicians are rumored to have summoned them for millennia, their efforts always ending in tragedy.
Raph: Eh, sounds like a bunch of nonsense to me.
[Mikey thought about it. In his imagination, we see Mikey fighting ghosts.]
Mikey: Aww yeah, ghoul-busting Mikey to the rescue! Ow!
[Raph slaps him]
Raph: What'd I tell you about the imagination thing, huh? Focus!
[Mikey blows raspberries.]
April: What have you got, Donnie?
Donnie: Well, with the new sensors I've determined a clear pattern of movement. Right here under the south-east part of Lower Manhattan. And here and here. But they all converge at what appears to be a dead-end at this one place.
April: Hmm, you think this is where they live?
Mikey: Whoo, if they're actually alive.
[In the dojo, Leo was at the shrine.]
Splinter: Do not be sad, my son.
[Leo looked and saw Splinter's Spirit.]
Leo: Father.
Splinter: Leonardo, I know you feel the weight of leading your family, but remember, I am always with you.
Leo: Sensei, we're facing something we've never encountered before, and I can sense something really bad on the horizon. What can I do?
Splinter: Find the light within. It is the only thing that can save you against these creatures of darkness. These beings are not what they appear to be.
Leo: Then what are they?
Donnie: [walking in] What are what? Uh, who you talking to, Leo?
Leo: It was... No one. Come on, let's head out.
[Donnie looks at the photo. Later, the teens sneak through the sewers.]
Donnie: This is the place where they meet up. Doesn't look suspicious.
April: I sense something strange close by, but I can't pinpoint it.
Leo: Maybe we should spread out more. Look around.
[Casey spots a hooded one followed by two more.]
Casey: Dudes, we got creepers creeping stage right!
[They begin to follow as the creatures open a secret passageway. They follow it and enter an underground dungeon. They steahtly escend the path until Leo stops them, hearing something.]
Demons: Mavakaaa sekulaa nadavaaaa. Mavakaaa sekulaa nadavaaaa. Mavakaaa sekulaa nadavaaaa. Mavakaaa sekulaa nadavaaaa. Mavakaaa sekulaa nadavaaaa.
[They hear the demons chanting and find them below.]
Cult Leader: Children. Our time is nigh. We finally have the Scroll of the Demodragon in our possession! Now we shall summon a being who will give us all the power we will ever need!
[To the turtle's shock, they realized that the cult leader is Tiger Claw.]
Leo: [shocked] Tiger Claw is the cult leader?!
Tiger Claw: Excellent work, my Foot Cultists. You understand the higher truth of or goal. Now I will use the scroll to summon Kavaxas. And with this mystic Seal of the Ancients, I will control him, and be his master.
Donnie: Okay, this is not good.
Raph: We need a plan of attack.
[They look at Leo. Leo stared at his brothers and friends.]
Leo: Uh, everyone, distract them while Raph and I get that seal.
Casey: Let's do it. I'm ready.
April: Me too.
Mikey: I'm pretty sure these guys are ready too.
[The Foot Cultists emerge from the shadows behind them.]
Raph: Aww, sewer pickles.
Casey: You couldn't sense them, Red?
April: Their minds aren't like human minds.
[They get easily defeated and brought to Tiger Claw, their hands held back.]
Tiger Claw: My old enemies. Perfect timing. Now you can bare witness.
Leo: The Foot are finished. Why'd you come back, Tiger Claw? So we can beat you again?
Tiger Claw: The Foot is by no means finished. Look all around you. We have been reborn. After our last battle, the Foot went underground. And in these very sewers, we discovered a strange race of creatures completely dedicated to the Shredder.
Mikey: And who are these freaks?
Tiger Claw: Something you couldn't possibly understand. Make them watch.
[The teens were brought down their knees.]
Casey: Let us go, Tiger Dude. Or I'll knock all nine lives out of you.
Tiger Claw: You will bear witness to the summoning of a greater being, Kavaxas, the most powerful of all the Demodragons. And his power will soon belong to me.
[He put the seal in the slot as the portal began to open. Flames burst as Tiger Claw opened the scroll. They start to chant. Everyone watched in horror as a blast blew them back. A mighty fiery demon dragon appears. Kavaxas, the demon has red scales with dark wings, rising nine feet tall, yellow eyes with slit pupils ]
Kavaxas: Mortal! You dare call upon Kavaxas? Lord of the Demodragons, Ruler of the Netherworld?! I will burn you and the rest of these abominations to ash.
[He breathes green fire but Tiger Claw uses the seal, protecting him.]
Tiger Claw: You will do nothing but obey me.
Kavaxas: Ahh! The Seal of the Ancients. You are wiser than I thought, creature. Very well then. What would you have me do, Master?
Tiger Claw: You will destroy the Turtles and their human allies, as a sign of fidelity to the Foot. Make it slow. Make it painful.
Kavaxas: As you command.
[He flaps in the air and breathes green fire.]
Mikey: Um, I have some spare pizza here for you. It's an inter-dimensional sign of love.
[The beast burns it away.]
Mikey: Man, dragon-dude, you don't have to be such a hot-head.
Leo: Get him!
[They charged but the beast used his green flames at them. Mikey threw his nunchucks at him but Kavaxas' flame traveled around the chain, knocking Mikey back. Leo caught him. He powered up his fingers and shot lasers at them. The rocks started to collapse.]
Tiger Claw: No, Kavaxas. Attack only the Turtles and their allies. You will obey me!
Kavaxas: Yes, Master.
[He swoops down. Donnie tries to attack but he swats him away and ends up almost at the ledge. Casey, Raph and Mikey attack but Kavaxas swatted them away, one by one. Leo charged but his swords broke and collapsed. Raph and Casey struggled to pull Donnie up while the demon began to use a powerful blast. April looked up.]
April: Duck!
[She used her barrier to protect them.]
Kavaxas: The mortal has gifts. And when I eat her whole, I will absorb her power and use it as I wish.
[He started to approach and April tried to move him but it was too strong.]
April: Why can't ....I move you?
Kavaxas: Because I am not of this reality, child!
[Pucks hit him.]
Casey: April!
Leo: We have to retreat. Let's go! Mikey!
Mikey: Booyakabunga!
[They disappear through the crack. The demon starts to attack, breathing fire but they escape.]
Tiger Claw: Stop! You will pursue no further. You will not leave my sight.
Kavaxas: As you command, Master.
[Kavaxas flies down.]
Tiger Claw: You have proven your usefulness.
[The turtles and humans have escaped through the sewer.]
Donnie: Oh, man. Kavaxas is even tougher than Super Shredder.
Mikey: We could barely take down three Cultists. How are we gonna take down an army plus Tiger Claw and Hot Head too?
Raph: What now, Leo?
Leo: Well, at least we know where their lair is. We just need a new plan of attack. Donnie, we need an upgrade.
Casey: Can we get our hands on like, say, two or three dozen tanks?
Leo: April, is this Kavaxas the new leader of The Foot?
April: I don't think so. I did sense that Tigerclaw summoned him because he's crucial to his plans, whatever they are. That's all I could get.
Mikey: I wonder what they're really up to.
[We cut back to the caves. Tiger Claw is talking to Kavaxas while holding the seal with his robotic hand.]
Tiger Claw: I call upon the power of the Seal of the Ancients to bind you to my purpose.
Kavaxas: By the spirits of all Demodragons past, you have my will.
Tiger Claw: Is it true? Only you have the power to manifest my wish, do you not?
Kavaxas: Indeed, Master Tiger Claw. I have that power and so much more.
Tiger Claw: Then you must do it. No matter what it takes. No matter who stands in your way. You will bring the Shredder back from the dead!
[Tiger Claw raises his hands up in the air, the episode ends with Shredder standing there in the red end screen.]
