[It all started with Karai and her Foot patrolling the city.]
Karai: The turtles have been spotted in this neighborhood, so stay alert for any sign of them.
[She heard the sound of lasers. Karai stops the Foot clan from attacking and looks over and sees the turtles fighting the kraang.]
Kraang droid: When fight is concluded, the ones called the Turtle are defeated by Kraang.
Karai: [interested] They're fighting robots?
[She stops her foot soldiers from attacking while she sees the alien retreat out of its suit.]
Karai: Whoa! This town's more interesting than I thought.
[Leo sees Karai, then he continues fighting them.]
Leo: I'll save you, Raph!
Raph: You'll save?
[Leo plants his feet against the wall and disarms a kraang while he lands on top of a kraang’s head and sliced its arms off.]
Leo: Relax, Mikey. You're safe now.
Mikey: Thanks! Wait, I was fine.
[Raph becomes suspicious]
Leo: Donnie! Behind you!
Donnie: The wall?
[Leo sliced a kraang droid, before he shared glances at Karai before she left. Raph notices it.]
Donnie: Uh, what the heck was that?
Mikey: Yeah, you trying to impress us? 'Cause it totally worked.
Donnie: What is it, Raph?
Raph: I thought I saw something. What about you, Leo? Did you see something?
Leo: No.
Raph: Turtles first, right?
Leo: Turtles first.
[They stare at each other.]
Donnie: You feel like we're missing something?
Mikey: All the time.
[theme song]
[At Shredder's lair. Baxter is making robot legs and an aerator for Fishface.]
Dogpound: Aw, the mermaid's growing legs!
Stockman: Please! Settle down. Xever, get ready to walk.
[Stockman presses a button. Fishface's robotic legs started moving. It malfunctions, making his robot feet go fast and kicking his head Dogpound began to laugh. ]
Fishface: No, no, no. No, no, no! [upset] Fix this, or I will bite your head off.
[Stockman turns it off.]
Shredder: Baxter Stockman.
Stockman: [panicked] Mr. Shredder! Uh, how long have you been standing there?
Shredder: Long enough to witness your failure. My patience is wearing thin.
Stockman: Yes, sir. It's just the control mechanism is proving trickier-
Shredder: Enough! If he is not walking soon, you won't be either. I will give you one more chance, and then I-
[Karai arrives through the window.]
Karai: Father. We spotted the turtles fighting some guys in suits, but they were actually slimy brain squids in robot bodies!
Shredder: Your mission is to destroy them and find Splinter. Everything else is a distraction!
Karai: [shocked] Distraction? Father, don't you want to know what's going on? Robots and creatures? Splinter's disciples are turtles, mutants! Your own men got turned into hideous freaks! Don't you think we should be finding out what's going on? I mean, there's more to life than your vendetta.
Shredder: There is nothing more. Have you forgotten what Hamato Yoshi did to me? To us? Every day that Splinter lives is a stain on our honor that we must wipe clean. Stay focused on your mission, Karai.
Karai: Yes, father.
[She leaves. In the dojo Leo and Raph spar.]
Raph: You knew the Foot Clan was watching us.
Leo: Not the Foot. Karai.
Raph: Karai is the Foot. You knew she was watching, and all you did was show off.
Leo: I was demonstrating how formidable we are. I knew she wasn't going to attack us.
Raph: Of course not. She's studying our moves for next time. You don't flirt with the enemy, Leo. You take 'em down.
Leo: No. You're wrong about her. She has a good side.
Raph: Oh, yeah? Well, if that's what you're doing, why don't you go tell the others?
Leo: Because they wouldn't understand.
[Raph pins him down to the wall with his arm,]
Raph: You really think Mikey and Donnie wouldn't understand? You really think Donnie wouldn't understand?
Leo: Look, I know what I'm doing. [knocks Raph off] You have to trust me.
Raph: Why should I?
Splinter: What is going on in here?!
Leo: Uh, nothing important. Right, Raph?
Raph: Right.
[In the living room, April is dabbing her mouth with a cotton stick.]
Mikey: What you doing, April?
April: Sending in a sample for a class project.
Mikey: You're mailing in your spit for a class project? Man, school sounds awesome!
April: It isn't.
Mikey: Well, I'd be awesome at it. Check this spit out. [tries to spit.]
[Donnie covers his mouth]
Donnie: Don't.
April: It's not about spit. It's about the DNA.
Donnie: DNA. Genetic code. You know, the building blocks of life? Okay, DNA is a microscopic blueprint that tells every living thing what to grow into and why am I still talking to you?
Mikey: I don't know. You'd think you'd have learned by now.
April: Everyone in our class is sending a DNA sample to this research group, the Worldwide genome project. Then they'll send us back a report telling us all about our ancestors. Neat, huh?
Mikey: Uh-huh. Uh-huh, uh-huh. Wow. It's amazing what they can do these days. Just kidding.
[Outside, Leo leaned on a chimney and noticed Karai's presence nearby.]
Leo: How'd I know you'd show up?
Karai: 'Cause you're not good at hiding from me?
Leo: Like last night.
Karai: Were you there? I didn't notice. I did see a bunch of robots, though. What's their deal?
Leo: Their deal is they're incredibly dangerous. Stay away from them.
Karai: I like them already. Something else is going on. What is it?
Leo: I'm not sure I should tell you anymore. Raphael says I can't trust you.
Karai: He makes a good point. [jumps down] Eventually, I am going to destroy you.
[They went into combat.]
Leo: I don't think you are.
Karai: Really? And what do you think this is?
Leo: I think it's a cry for help. I think you're looking for a way out of the Foot Clan, and I can help you.
Karai: You're adorable. Stupid, but adorable.
Leo: Really? You think I'm-
[Leo yelps until Karai leaped off. Leo follows her.]
Leo: You wanna play games? I can handle it, but I need your word that you will not attack my brothers.
Karai: You know I can't do that.
Leo: Then understand this. If you come after them, I'll come after you. Hear me?
Karai: Loud and clear.
[She leaves. At the school in the day. April arrives. There she is greeted by a lady with gray hair.]
Campbell: Hello! I'm Ms. Campbell From the Worldwide genome project. Are you April O'Neil?
April: Uh, yes.
Campbell: I'm here to present your DNA test results. Come with me.
April: Wow. I figured you guys were just gonna send printouts.
Campbell: No. We don't send printouts. Come with me.
April: Uh, where exactly?
Campbell: We're going to a place where I will present your DNA test results. Come with me.
April: Uh, what did you say your name was again?
Campbell: I'm Ms. Campbell from the Worldwide genome project. I'm here to present your DNA test results.
April: Right. I gotta go.
[She was about to leave but Campbell grabbed her arm.]
Campbell: Come with me.
[April struggled to move her arm and Campbell threw her aside the trophy display case. She dodges, causing the trophy display to break.]
April: Thank you, Splinter.
[Campbell starts to chase April. She looked around for a hiding place as Campbell followed. The classrooms are locked and she continued on to find a place to hide. She throws a helmet at her and hides in a locker. Campbell breaks free with red glowing eyes, revealing she is not human. Once April is safe, she starts to text.]
Raph: So are you gonna tell the guys about her?
Leo: No need. We had a little chat, and, uh, she's gonna leave us alone.
Raph: Oh, right, because villains always back off when you ask them to. Maybe I'll text the Kraang and ask them to stop mutating stuff.
Mikey: Okay, guys, what do you want: omelet pizza or pizza omelet?
Raph: What's the difference?
Mikey: Okay, you caught my bluff.
[They receive a text]
Donnie: Hey, did you guys just get a mass text from April?
[They nod.]
Donnie: Well, does yours also say she's being attacked by an old lady?
Leo: Sure does.
Raph: Yep.
Donnie: Is that considered an emergency?
Leo: I guess. Let's go!
[The turtles enter the school. Mikey was amazed that he had never been inside a high school before.]
Mikey: Sweet! So, this is what school is like.
[The alarms start to go off but Raph stabs it. Once the alarm is off, they notice Campbell.]
Raph: Okay, I feel stupid.
Leo: Ugh, April's gotta learn the T-phones are for emergencies only.
[Campbell turned her head, her red eyes glowing.]
Campbell: A-A-April O'Neil?
Raph: Ah, sewer bunnies.
[Campbell began to fire launches from her elbows and fire missiles. It explodes, sending them flying.]
Mikey: Leo, I think this does count as a-
Leo: An emergency. I know!
[Campbell screeches, destroying the handrail of the stairs. Raph leaped at her and captured her hand with his sai. She spins and throws him onto the trophy case. Then she takes out a folder and throws sharp paper at him. Raph dodged again as Campbell crawled like a spider before getting back to normal stance.]
Leo: All right, guys. Let's put old mother hubbard back in her cupboard.
Raph: Dude, it literally hurts to listen to you sometimes.
[She fires again and the turtles start to cut off her arms and her face. To their shock, it is revealed that she is not human but a Kraang droid with the logo on it.]
Leo: Mikey! The water fountain!
Mikey: I know! School has everything!
Leo: No! Spray her!
[Mikey turns on the fountain and electrocutes her. She shuts down and falls to the ground.]
Donnie: April! Where are you?
[April appears from the locker and kicks the Droid's body.]
April: And stay down! Thank you, guys.
Donnie; You are so welcome.
April: So what the heck is that thing?
Leo: It looks like a Kraangdroid minus the Kraang.
April: She said she was from the Worldwide genome project.
Mikey: [holding the mask] Whoa. How did the Kraang know you sent your DNA spit to the Worldwide thingamajig project?
[Raph yelps]
Donnie: The Kraang must've hacked into their system. Who knows what kind of info they could be stealing?
Leo: April, you'd better head to the lair, where it's safe. We'll go check out the Worldwide genome project.
Mikey: [looking at a poster] But, first, we gotta take down the eastside high panthers. According to that poster, they've got it coming.
[The turtles started to head to the worldwide genome as Karai followed them.]
Raph: So how do we get in?
Donnie: Leave it to me. I've got an app for that.
Raph: I've got an app for that, too. [crashes door]
[Once they enter inside, everything looks dark.]
Mikey: You know, for a human lab, this place is awfully Kraang-y.
Leo: Guys, I think the Kraang are the Worldwide genome project.
[They entered the main center to find a tank of mutagen in the middle while large contains made up of animal DNA is labeled. Two Kraangdroids fire but Donnie knocked them down as Raph shoved them into an empty container.]
Raph: Now, you two play nice in there.
Leo: What are those?
Donnie: Well, it looks like they're collecting DNA from every plant and animal species on Earth.
Leo: What?
Mikey: Building blocks, dude. I'll drop the science on you later.
Donnie: I wonder what they're doing with all this DNA.
Leo: Whatever it is, it can't be good. Let's shut this place down.
Mikey: Hey, where's Raph?
[Raph is above the mutagen vat and holding Karai.]
Raph: Gotcha!
Leo: Karai!
Donnie: Ka-who?
Raph: Bet you think you're pretty slick.
[Karai gets out of Raph's hold, pinning him down with her foot.]
Karai: I have my moments.
[Raph starts to attack Karai.]
Leo: Raph, Karai! Stop it!
Donnie: Okay, what the heck is going on here? How do they know her?
Mikey: Yeah, and how do we know her? Wait. Do we know her?
Karai: So this is the stuff that turns people into monsters, huh? How's it work?
Raph: Why don't you lean in a little closer, and I'll show you?
[Karai knocks Raph down but Leo gets between them,]
Leo: Enough! You're gonna set off [accidentally bump into the button.] one of those.
Raph: Nice going, Leo. You're protecting her? What is wrong with you? She is bad news.
Leo: No, she's not!
Karai: Yeah, I am.
[The droids appear above the catwalk and surround them.]
Kraang droid: The ones who are not authorized by the authority of Kraang to exist in this place will now be destroyed by Kraang in this place.
Karai: This day just keeps getting better.
[Karai began to attack the Kraang as the other turtles battle them.]
Leo: Look. See? She's on our side.
Raph: Are you even listening to yourself?
Karai: I like your brother, Leo. [leaps and slices the Kraang] He's almost as entertaining as you.
Raph: Oh, when this is over, I'll show you how entertaining I can be.
[Everyone stepped back as the Kraang took out am energy cannon.]
Kraang: Kraang is now arriving to provide the help that has been requested by Kraang.
Leo: We're trapped!
Karai: No. You're trapped. What happens if I do this?
Raph: No!
Leo: Don't do that!
Kraang: Highly undesirable outcome.
Karai: Well, now I gotta.
[She pressed the button and the ooze started to rise up. The ooze began to flow as everyone watched. Tentacles began to emerge from the vat and grab the droids. The mist cleared and now it is revealed to be a strange looking mutant, More like a giant pink octopus with jellyfish eyes, armadillo armor, bat ears and a cat's voice.]
Mikey: Aww. He's so cute.
[The creature extended its head and roared, revealing viper fangs. The droids began to fire at the mutant hybrid as it screeched.]
Karai: Whoa! That is wicked.
Mikey: How the heck am I gonna name this?
Karai: Good question. Well, see ya. [she takes the droid]
[Karai takes the droid and leaves to the window.]
Leo: You're not gonna help us beat this thing? It's your fault!
Karai: I'll let the heroes handle it.
Leo: Uhh! I trusted you!
Karai: I know! That's messed up, right?
[Karai rudely leaves. Leonardo becomes heartbroken by Karai's true color as Kraang shoots the hybrid mutant. again. The creature screeched and whipped its tentacles.]
Raph: So, guys, we all fans of Karai yet?
Donnie: I don't know who she is, but I know I hate her!
Raph: Hey, look, Leo. The Kraang are on our side now.
Leo: Save it.
[The hybrid continues to chase them. Raph gets stuck in its grasp but gets freed.]
Raph: Nice try, Octo-punk!
Mikey: No, no! Call him "Octo-eyeball-jelly-bug"! Ahh, let's just call him Justin.
[The hybrid knocks Mikey, slammed Raph, electrocutes Donnie and Leo looked around at his fallen brothers.]
Leo: Raph's right. It is my fault.
[Leo yells in fury and charges at the hybrid avoiding its electric eyes. He starts to attack the creature as it screeches.]
Leo: Hey, Justin! This ends now.
[Leo deflected the bolt and then raised his other katana, letting the sparks flow and attacked, stabbing the tank. It exploded and the blast hit the hybrid. Justin screeches in pain and slammed through the wall.]
Mikey: Take that, Justin!
Leo: Come on! Let's get out of here!
[They began to leave as the building caught on fire.]
Mikey: So-
Donnie: We're thinking somebody should start talking.
[On the dojo]
Leo:[sighs in defeat] I should've told you about Karai sooner, but I really thought there was a chance she would be good, and I guess I sort of liked her. Go ahead. Laugh.
Mikey: [upset] Dude, I can't believe you trusted her.
Donnie: [livid] I can't believe you didn't trust us enough to tell us.
Leo: I was wrong. I'm really sorry.
April: [disappointed] I tried to warn him.
Raph: You too, huh?
Splinter: Leonardo, you are not the first young man or turtle to make a fool of yourself over a girl.
Mikey: What about Donnie?
Splinter: However, when that girl is a Kunoichi in the employ of your enemy, that is an error you cannot afford.
Leo: Hai, sensei.
Splinter: Deception is the ninja's most powerful weapon, and it seems Karai is a master.
Leo: I know. We can't trust her. I see that now.
Splinter: Good. You must learn from your mistake.
Leo: Thank you for understanding. I'm glad you're not mad.
[Splinter stops for a moment, overheard those words, now becomes incredibly furious.]
Splinter: [reminded and is now mad] Who says I'm not mad?
[Splinter injures his leg by stomping him with his cane as a punishment as Leo cries painfully. Cut to Leo going to his room as Raph confronts him.]
Raph: Hey, bro. I'm glad you came to your senses.
Leo: You were right. I don't know what I was thinking.
Raph: Well, I can see how you'd think she's hot in an evil kind of a way.
Leo: Yeah. Well, don't worry. I am so over that.
[At Shredder's lair, Karai has returned home. Dogpound is still laughing at Fishface who still got ran over by his own legs.]
Dogpound :[Laughing hard] Oh, this is too good. I could watch this forever.
Fishface: Go chase a mailman!
[Karai brings the droid here.]
Karai: The robots. I've seen them up close. They call themselves the Kraang.
Shredder: I told you I am not interested in this robot fiction. I will hear no more of this!
Karai: I think this is how they control their robot bodies. I don't know. Maybe you can use it?
(Karai throws the chip to Stockman. He presses a button, and the robot head perches up. Startled, Stockman presses the button, as the head drops. He presses another button, and the arm moves.)
Stockman: This is exactly the sort of neural transmission interface I've been trying to develop!
Shredder: Hmm. Very well. I want you to find out all you can about this "Kraang. " Their technology may prove useful in our war against the turtles. Well done, Karai.
