Official Description[]
The Turtles enlist the help of the Mighty Mutanimals to stop Bebop and Rocksteady.
Plot[]
Shortly after the Technodrome powered up, the 12-Turtles, 87-Turtles and April arrive at its old location. Although they do not find a trace of the Technodrome, but an ambush by some foot robots on combat machines. On screen, the friends are briefly taunted by the Shredder and Krang, before the robots go to attack and are processed by the Turtles team to scrap.
In the meantime, Bebop and Rocksteady are forced by their rolls donors to menial work and are constantly showered with insults. At the edge of frustration, they are sent by the villains to the old base of The Kraang, the TCRI building, to obtain some energy crystals. In the building, however, the two encounter some members of the Mutanimals - Slash, Leatherhead and Mondo Gecko - and the Earth Protection Force, who do their best to sully their business; but despite this intervention, Bebop and Rocksteady escape with the sought-after crystals. Mondo immediately informs 12-Michelangelo about the raid, but the Turtles arrive just in time to see Shredder help his two minions escape again.
With all the necessary components in their hands, Krang and Shredder raise the Technodrome to the surface where they are already expected by the Turtles, along with their heavily upgraded Shellraiser and Party Wagon. These bombard the mobile base, but the armor of the Technodrome easily withstands their new armament. The two villains now open their portal to Dimension X , to completely lay waste to the Earth with the help of Krang's Rock Soldiers; Traag and Granitor (or their 2012 versions) enter the city along with a great multitude of lower-level rock soldiers. With the Mutanimals and the EPF as support, the Turtles take up the fight against the stone invaders, forcing Krang and Shredder to intervene in the battle personally, and the tide begins to turn bad.
In the meantime, however, Bebop and Rocksteady are beginning to feel remorse: not only that Krang and the Shredder have lacked appreciation for them; but also that their maniacal plan to destroy the Earth, does not fit the two at all in the junk. Therefore, they turn against their two evil masters and cause damage to the portal projector, whereupon the rock soldiers are sucked back into their dimension by the closing opening. After Bebop and Rocksteady have done the Technodrome in, Krang and Shredder are taken into custody, the 87-Turtles say goodbye and return to their reality with their two prisoners, where they persuade their home versions of Bebop and Rocksteady to no longer be subordinate to ungrateful employers. And in the 2012 dimension, the local Bebop and Rocksteady decide to operate as superheroes from now on, and thus come to fame and honor.
Back into their own dimension, 80s Bebop and Rocksteady think that the Turtles are going to get kick, but they assured them that Bebop and Rocksteady can do whatever they want. Rocksteady think that he wanted to be a lawyer and Bebop says that he wanted to dance.

Trivia[]
- When the Turtles are tracking the Shredder in the sewers and are ambushed, 1987 Raphael made a comment--except in 1987 Michelangelo's voice. The Turtles speaking with each other's voices was a common error in the 1987 series.
- This episode shares its name with the season 3 finale of the 1987 TV series.
- This episode was released early on DVD in September 12, 2017.
- An animated storyboard version of the final "Ice Cream Kitty" song segment - composed and performed by Greg Cipes (Michelangelo) - premiered on October 7, 2016 at the New York Comic-Con.
- The image that comes to mind when Rocksteady mentions "Mother" is a representation of Russia's national personification called "Mother Russia".
- Krang was using “Chrome Dome Shampoo” which features a picture of that 80s character's face.
- This is the last episode of the 2012 TV series in airing order.
- When 80s Raphael speaks his first line in this episode, 80s Michelangelo's voice can be heard instead. This might be a reference to the occasional error in the 1987 TV series where the wrong voice comes out of the wrong Turtle's mouth.
- The same thing happens when 2012 Raphael questions 80s Leonardo about the 2012 world being weird. There, 2012 Donatello's voice comes out of Raphael's mouth. This is a nod to Rob Paulsen voicing both 2012 Donatello and 1987 Raphael.
- It is the only season finale in the 2012 series where neither a Protagonist Dies or is thought to be Presumed dead.
