After the turtles defeated Super Shredder in Owari, Tiger Claw summons Kavaxas to resurrect Shredder. The turtles show up to stop Shredder's resurrection but are too, late. A fight ensues between the turtles and Shredder has gained new powers. But Shredder betrays Tiger Claw and tells him that Kavaxas is Shredder's new master. Kavaxas reveals that Shredder was turned into his undead servant along with Rahzar, who was also resurrected. Tiger Claw engages in a fight with Shredder as the turtles arrive. The turtles then had to destroy Kavaxas to defeat his undead servants. Thanks to Michelangelo, he fixed Kavaxas's Seal and commanded his to reopen the portal to the netherworld so that Kavaxas would be sealed away forever. Shredder now no longer being controlled pushes Kavaxas and himself through the portal which then is sealed.
